Sunday mornings
Movement and Meditation

8:00 am - 10:00 am

FREE Community Offering

Sunrise on the Sand started as a monthly offering to build connection, compassion, and community well-being in early 2015 on the shores of Fort Lauderdale Beach. We recently joined forces with Diversity Aquatics/Blue Mindfulness and the Mind Body Resiliency Coalition of Broward to create a unique weekly Mindful Broward Community of Practice at the Historic Black Beach (Von Mizell Eula-Johnson State Park) in Dania Beach, Florida. All are welcome. Each Sunday movement and meditation practices are led by diverse qualified teachers of evidence-based Mindfulness, Mind Body and Blue Mind modalities in our community. Practices that follow are culturally responsive and trauma-informed.  RSVP with a valid email address in order to receive updates.

The documentary challenges the dominant narrative of fear and anxiety that often drives environmental and social action.
